In Residence was formed around a simple observation: the best NYC residences and the best residents rarely find each other on a public listing site — and neither side wants to be there.
We work with a limited number of residences at a time. Each is verified, each owner is known to us, and each is presented only to members who have completed a full verification programme.
Our judgement is the product. Technology quietly supports it — intake, verification tracking, ranked matching, secure messaging and reporting — but no algorithm decides who lives in your home. You do.
We are based in New York and work exclusively within the five boroughs, with the majority of our residences in Manhattan.
